Or -- you could just try driving the approximate speed limit. Generally, I was told by a local deputy, they will allow you three miles per hour over the speed limit, but not five. You could learn and stick to the rules of the road - when to pass, when to stay in your lane, and when it is best to stop on a yellow light and when it is safe to mosey on through.
You could try checking your vehicle now and then to make sure all the lights and turn signals work -- and make a practice to use them when required. You could treat other vehicles on the road with the respect a ton or two of metal deserves. You could be a responsible driver.
